I've recently moved to a smaller space and am clearing a few items.
60's Leedy 5.5x14 Model 1147 (Frank Capp?) snare in mahogany lacquer. Excellent all original condition, except for new batter head.
$300.00 plus shipping.
Very pretty. Love it. Bet it sounds like a million bucks too.
That's a wonderful looking snare. :D I love the streamline art deco inspired Leedy lugs.
If this is one you are letting go, I can't imagine the drums you are keeping.
Good luck with your sale. Someone is going to be very happy.

Could be a Joe Harris model. Same as the Frank Capp, just depends on the manufacture period. I believe the Capp came first then it was dubbed the Harris. I had a clear lacquer brass version.
Is that shell mahogany/poplar/mahogany or does it have a maple inner ply?
On closer inspection that strainer didn't come on either the Capp or Harris models.
I believe by 1964 or 1965, Slingerland built drums were using the newer style Rapid strainer.
Inner ply is maple.
Bump...........
