selling a beautiful 1960's Ludwig Downbeat outfit in blue sparkle finish.

in incredible all original condition with no extra holes or mods! received the set from the original owner's nephew who told me his aunt bought the kit new in the 60's and used it for a few years, then it spent over 30 years untouched and unplayed under a sheet!

includes original cymbal L arm, baseball bat mufflers, white painted interiors and original Ludwig heads from the time period! the wrap is gorgeous and vibrant with tight seams, the chrome glistens and is in excellent shape, even the bass drum hoops are beautiful with some light paint chipping that was retouched. serial numbers are in the 5xxxx and the kit was built together and lived its whole life together.

most importantly, the kit sounds AMAZING, has that vintage mojo and sound, super warm and the drums tune and perform at all levels, tuned high or low. a real winner!!
