I have a vintage 60's Jazz Festival snare with the original heads.
Was the orchestra head the same as todays ambassador?
Also, should I play the drum with a 50 yo head or should I put new batter/reso on and save the original

most of my vintage drums have the orig skins /
i'ld recommend putting on new ones (sound is improved)
save the orig in a safe spot for dwn the road..
