IMO..this is a sweet kit. I would say $450 w/ matching snare but up to $350 without it. This is only my guess. It'll be hard to find a vintage kit in that condition with that wrap. Pretty much what others have posted. :2Cents: Cool1

In the states I say close to top dollar for an MIJ,300.00 to 350.00 but I think the really unusual wraps still go for a little more.But that kit is in great sizes,looks to be very clean,and I had an older pearl in that wrap,and after I cleaned it up it looked fantastic,especially under stage lighting.

Thats a Pearl Valencia. If the shells are "very thin" as the OP says, then they are the Luan shells. Very similar to the set I had. El Cheapo.

Thats a gorgeous wrap, agreed. But this set will be one that "looks" much better than it "sounds". The buyer will have to true up all the bearing edges, coat the insides of the shells with shellac, and use the right heads on those drums to get a decent sound. And oh yes....Dont DROP them....you'll crack a shell.

I would pay up to $300 for those, but no more. No matching snare doesnt warrant any more than that at least in my humble opinion.

Heya fellas - sorry I got to the party late- have been busy- getting ready for a trip to the US this Friday.

Yup, all single center lugged kits like this are Valencias regardless of the badge- with the exception of the little kids kits- those were also single lugged.

Without the matching snare I would try to get it for between 200$-250$ and no higher than 250$ whatsoever. Only with the matching snare would I hit near 300$. I like the wrap and the Pearl letter badges are in great shape. It's got the 1968 design.

For luan drums 200-250$ is really the limit for me regardless. Goodluck getting them - they'll be so fun to play.

I have two Valencia kits that I use at my drum school all the time- once you invest in really good heads and swap out the lug nut inserts for new ones ( and use my inner felt ring muffle trick on the bass drum!Cool1) they are sweet practice sets.Party

Just perspective, I paid about 270$ for the bass and toms and then about 65$ for the snare- in Japanese yen of course- this is a 69 Valencia in top original condition. Love this kit
