Here's a made in England Premier drum set that I'd date early to mid sixties, based on info from previous owner and fact that metric shell sizes stopped in 68.

Re: metric shell sizes--premier kits in this period used pre international head sizing, yielding metric equivalents of a 20/12/16 kit, the "standard outfit" in Britain in the 60s. In fact, do some googling to find a Liverpool drummer (name rhymes with bingo) whose early kit was impressively similar to this one.

The heads are available to order from remo--got three new batter sides thru Chucks last year and didn't play em much. Only trick was that order took a few months. Lucky for you though the ones on this kit are in fine shape, lots of life left. In this esoteric vein, tension rods are slotted--keys available online, I always used a leather man with no issues.

Very nice birch shells with re rings--sound woody and 60s and rockin. Tom mount on kick drum is a superbly retrofitted Yamaha piece, ball swivel mount incl. I believe legs on kick and floor are replacements too, Yamaha as well I think. One floor tom leg mount is a bit loose, never gave me grief and could be tightened up with some clever fiddling. One or two very small holes in kick shell, likely from missing hardware. All badges intact, one needs to be reglued, ill leave that up to you.

I am looking to get $600 and will go halfsies on UPS costs, packed securely, paid via paypal.
