60's Rogers COB Powertone (Dayton tag) Last viewed: 2 hours ago

SOLD! Thank you all for looking!

Hi All,

This time, I have a 60's Rogers COB Powertone (Dayton tag) for sale. The drum is in good condition, one scratch 1" in one panel, otherwise clean as a whistle. Original parts with the exception of the heads and snares. The wires are vintage Ludwig. (script logo)

No long sales pitch needed. Everybody knows how great these snares sound and what work-horses they are for the drummers that own one. This one sounds awesome, raw, open throated drum with a mighty crack for a backbeat.

$215.00 - shipped in lower 48.

Will not last long! He who hesitates...

Buy with confidence. First come, first served... pm me.

John

Hey, I resemble that remark! Just got back from a nice visit with John and Mrs. Purdie Shuffle and I'm still smiling. Knowing I'm a newbie/gonna' be drummer John was very gracious and besides the Powertone I got a case and stand for a great price, not to mention a 45 minute tutorial! P Shuffle is as passionate about drums and drumming as anyone I've ever met and I'm sure I haven't seen the last of him. Many thanks again John.

So glad I found this forum. Trying to digest all the info (not to mention the pics!) will keep me plenty busy for sure.

Believe it or else!
