Looks like a black student deluxe wood shell drum. If you look where the reso head is torn it looks like wood. Also, I'm pretty sure that it is a six lug drum with a rapid strainer.

It looks to be Slingerland's equivalent of the Ludwig Pioneer. 5x14 3 ply shell with 6 lugs. 60's badge.
