...AND THIS BABY HAS BEEN SOLD!!!

Hola Amigos,

I'm raising funds for another project, so I'm selling my 1963 Ludwig Acrolite. This gem has a smooth matte aluminum shell (non-orange peel) with a pre-serial keystone badge, vintage Ludwig wires, COB top and bottom hoops and get this...it has factory-crimped snare beds! It has to be one of the first production models to roll out of the Ludwig factory. It has some light scratches on the shell, the wires are missing 2 strands, but there no dents and the chrome is nice. It did not have the tone control when I got it, but I have a white felt nickel one I can throw in if someone wants it. I've never seen another Acro like this one. More pictures available. Email me at "][email protected] if interested.

Asking $300 + shipping.

Hey Mikey! You bought that one! How many acro's does this make for you? Sweet looking drum, I was oogling it myself. Congrats on a great snare, Mike, congrats on a quick sale, Aaron. Two of the good guys here at VDF.

Happy trails...

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Thanks, John!

Mike...that's quite a collection and this one will make a fine addition that no one else will have in their collections! I've yet to hear of another like it.

Enjoy,

Aaron
