once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Jag - I choked up when I saw the price on it! It doesn't even matter about small details with a deal-killer price like that on em. Nobody is going to give them a second look after seeing the price-tag! I don't know where people get numbers like that. Oh wait, yeah I do... they pull it out of their a**!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

All it takes is one sucker with a lot of money.

Seller is using Ringo's name in vain. What a crime.

Even if they are the real deal, $10K is a ridiculous price. I have a '65 BDP kit, just the same as a Ringo kit (except for the snare) and I paid $1700 and I thought that was outrageous. They look and sound fantastic, however and I consider it money well spent. Ringo's wrap has no effect on how the drums sound.

OK, price aside, I see a few pictures of holes in the wrap, the front bass drum hoop is out of round and has a few dings in it as well. There is also no relationship to Ringo so I'm Not sure how they came up with that price.

The wood chips around the grommets on the interiors is original...I've seen that a lot on '60s Ludwigs. It's just a blowout. Probably happened more during the Ringo craze when they were throwing drums out the door.
