Wasn't there a school in NY that had a standing order with Ludwig for this particular size of Acrolites? I think we've done this before, and the school was a big name high school in like Buffalo or something....anyway you look at it though, those are nice shells.

Did anyone see the repro version that someone did on DFO? New Acro shell, acid-stripped and reinstated with keystone badge, 60s 1.8mm hoops? Looked fantastic. Thinking of doing it myself someday.

There you go...it was one from NY public schools. They had a standing order with Ludwig for many years to buy these for students in both sizes.
