I have a drum kit from '66 that I've always known as pink champagne sparkle. My dad bought them for me when I was 8 yrs. old so I am the one and only owner. Dad passed away suddenly when I was 10.
I have had a very emotional attachment to this kit but, I've finally come to the realization that I have to let go of them. Now at age 55 my wife and I have sold our house and are in the process of downsizing to a condo. Currently they are in climate controlled storage. I would rate the condition as very good.
The wraps are tight as the day they were new, and never any modifications made to the drums themselves.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what they may be worth?
The only pieces I can not locate are the snare stand, and foot pedal for the kick drum. I thought they would turn up in the move but they didn't.
There are two 18'' Zildjian Avedis cymbals, two 14" Z A hi-hat cymbals, along with two 12" Roxy hi-hat cymbals that were originally part of the kit that will be included, plus the throne, and soft cases.
The throne is the same vintage '66 but is a Ludwig.
The Kick drum is 14" x 18" / Tom 9" x 13" / Floor tom 14" X 14"
Snare 5" x 14"
I have more pics on my laptop but need to resize them.
I'll try to post more later.
Any input is much appreciated.
Added a few more pics.
