67 Ludwig DownBeat: Curious about a kit I've had for almost 30 years. Last viewed: 4 minutes ago

Loading...

I used this when I was young, now it's just sitting in the cases. Anyone know what it's worth? Missing a few things but nothing that can't be easily replaced.

Guess I could make this easier:

20" Bass

14" Floor Tom

14" Snare (Is from 1965 according to the serial #)

12" tom

Thanks

the market is 750 to 900

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

looks like a jazz festival snare with it possibly. i couldnt see the strainer to confirm. thats assuming that its a 5x14 8 lugger. if so, that and the fact that it has a 14x14 floor tom add to the value i think. the wrap looks really vivid as well. those should do really well for you.

OK, I'm just getting into looking these up. like I said, I've had them for a long time, and never really knew much about them. I parted with the cymbals years back for a good amount of money ($3k or so), but never thought about parting with these until recently - a bit of spring cleaning if you will.

I talked to someone who told me they would be worth a ton if they were in 'perfect' condition, but said I could expect anywhere from $1,000 to 1,200 for these with the right crowd. looking for an idea of what I should be asking for since I will let these go either this weekend, or next month.

Thanks again all! :)
