I just picked up a 69 acrolite and it has a P-85 strainer on it like you would normally find on a 70's acro w/ the black face plate. Is this probably just a change over thing going into 69 to 70? Ill try to post pics later.

Curtis this is my 1969 Acro, I am the only and original owner got it for my first year of jr high band brand spanking new. this is 100% factory, I have gotten tired of having to always explain this, but here I am again, it came just as you see it from the factory nothing changed, myself and 3 others in our jr. band all came this way with the imperial lugs. 69 was the transition period from p83 to p85's.
