My dad lives 8 hours away in NY. he just texted me pics of two cool kits he picked up.

Hes always been a slingerland fan and already has some cool 60's kits, so he scoops stuff up whenever someone tells him They have a kit for sale.

The chrome over wood kit is an 8/12, 9/13, 14/14, 16x18" kick (!) With am acro snare.

The other kit is from 85 with maple shells, thin foil badges, and not the cardboard tube crap, but they are power tom sizes.. Which isn't so cool.

These 85's are some of the last kits slingy made from what I can find.

Anyone else have info? Rarity of Niles era 18" kicks? Value/quality of 1985 stuff?
