I was at a local music store yesterday and they had a 70's blue/olive badge Supraphonic for sale. It was in decent condition. Cosmetically, it wasn't the best-looking drum. It had some pitting and spots where the chrome was coming off. The throw was bent, too, but it worked and the drum sounded great. It looked like everything was original, although there's no way to guarantee it. They were asking $200 for it, so I asked if they would come down on the price and they told they could take $180 for it. Is that a good price?

For one with heavy to moderate pitting I wouldn't pay more than $75-$100 for it. Especially when you can still buy a supraphonic NEW for about $380

I just picked up a 76-ish Supra for $100 at a pawn shop. All original except the muffler mechanism is missing. It also came with a RIMS mount. Apparently the previous owner had it mounted.
If you watch EBay Supras are averaging $125 or so, add shipping and your at $150.
