once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
You dog, those turned out to be a great surprise. Outstanding. I'm glad you went for them. Turned out really cool. Love the kit and that snare to boot. Great great snag.
Saw that one on Chicago CL. I thought to myself: man i wish I had a G laying around! Nice score! You sure thats not bowling ball though? It looks different than a 60's oyster. It was hard to tell from the pics. I imagine if you got it then you know that its 60's style!
Merry Christmas!

I'd love to see larger pictures, but based on my knowledge of BOP, or more accurately OBP (!), this finish went through about 3 different styles. The first being the original, followed by the style in this kit and then the infamous Bowling Ball version. I believe you'll see version 2 displayed in the 1971 and 1973 catalogs as the Deluxe Classic outfit. Style 2 had more pronounced silver highlights, while retaining much of the pattern of Style 1.
obp i mean it is (dyslexia), its still a great deal, i like the finish and its still one of the last holly woods

Great score, buddy! Beautiful drums. I'm loving my old Hollywoods, you're going to have some serious fun playing those. Mine sing.
