I'm trying to see if this is a Tom someone tried to convert OR
a real marching snare.
questions
-what snare throw would have come on this model?
-there are no snare beds. is this common for marching snares?
Unfortunately I don't have a pic with me right now but I have the exact same snare drum. It's a 10x14 with classic lugs, WMP finish and a p-85 throwoff. I have a paper tag in mine but I don't remember the exact details or my know my serial number. I will check on that later and reply again.
I will say this: It's an amazing sounding snare drum. Mine was given to me and I figured it would sound kind of crappy. I was very suprised at how nice it sounds!
Marching snare are very common to not have snare bed, they came equipped with the classic strainer or the P 85 most of the time.
i was really impressed with the sound of this one. Very Punchy but still snappy.
