7/16'' Threaded Grommets Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I'm looking for 4 threaded grommets with an outside diameter of 7/16'' in chrome. I haven't been able to find anything online in this size, hopefully someone has something...

I've been looking for these also, with no luck. Jammin Sam has them, BUT you can only purchase them if you buy his wrap. You would think someone else would make them.

Picture? I've searched and come up with several types.

Does it have to be exactly 7/16"? Lots of places sell a 1/2" threaded grommet, like here:

The ones from Drumfactory are nice ones, but if you're wanting to use a vintage badge, forget them. They won't work. Not only is the shaft too big to go through the badge's hole, but the outside "lip" (or whatever it's called) is way to thick. I've used these only on rewrap jobs where I wasn't using a badge. For instance, they work great on 70s Pearl... or any other drums where the brand badge isn't incorporated with the breather hole.

I've never been able to find the threaded 7/16" ones anywhere but Jammin Sams. And you can't pry them from him unless you're buying his wrap!

IF anyone figures out where to get 'em other than Jammin Sams, PLEASE post it here and let us all know! I like using the threaded grommits for rewrap jobs. The end results look just a good... and it's a whole lot easier and less "mistake prone."

Well...that sucks.

I'm looking for them for a set of Tama Superstars that I have, and don't want to drill to fit the bigger vents. That project has kind of taken a back seat recently, but I will start working on them again soon. If anyone finds someone who will sell them (without buying wrap :) ) then I'm still looking too!
