Kit has been sold.

I bought this kit new in `81 or `82, at Belisle Music in Manchester NH.

14x22, 16x16, 9x13, 8x12, and a cob 5x14 snare. All have the drop g badge. I was probably the only kid at the time buying a kit in traditional sizes, and not power toms, but I'm glad I did.

Drums are in excellent shape, with fewer scuffs, rash, and marks in the wrap than you would expect.

10 lug bass drum is model 4247, s/n 106945. Some small scratches down low from cymbal stands, and the T screw for the tom mount was replaced with a square head screw that tightens with a drum key. I think this is the only non original piece of hardware on the kit. Has new Evans EQ4 batter and EQ3 resonant heads. The batter side hoop has some marks from the pedal mounting. 2 of the T rods have a slight bend in the thread area, but only slight. They still thread into the lugs fine. These could be easily straightened, but I will leave that up to the buyer. They could be left as is.

8 lug 16x16 tom is model 4418, s/n 114527. Wrap has almost no marks on it. Has new coated Evans G1 level 360 heads on both sides.

6 lug 9x13 tom is model 4416, s/n 110624. This drum does have a scratch and some small gouges under the mount where it contacted the mounting arm on the bass drum, but relatively minor. It has coated Evans G1 level 360 heads top and bottom. One odd thing is that this drum has never had an internal backing plate for the mount, where the 12" tom does. It has large washers instead, but I know this is original because I am the original owner.

5 lug 8x12 tom is model 4415, s/n 114997. Only one very small 3/8" area of scratching on this tom. It also has new Evans coated G1 level 360 heads.

The 8 lug 5x14 snare is model 4160, s/n 109770. It is cob, and has no damage. It does have the original snap in key, and the original Gretsch Responso 20 strand snare wires, although 1 strand is missing. It has a new Ambassador batter head, and new Aquarian American Vintage snare side head.

All drums have the original paper tags, original hoops, lugs, internal hardware, tension rods etc. Original felt dampeners are present in all drums including the bass drum.

The original bass drum spurs and floor tom legs have the original rubber tips in great shape.

Included in the sale are the double tom mount, Floating Action bass drum pedal with all original parts including the leather strap, and non padded fibre cases for the toms and bass. I will throw in a newer padded bag for the snare.

Bearing edges are good, interiors look great.
