A big THANK YOU to everyone here on VDF Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Just wanted to thank everyone that has been kind enough to share their wisdom and expertise w/ me here on VDF. I've been a pro drummer [meaning i make my living gigging] for about 20 yrs, but recently decided to pull back on traveling and now mainly play wknds, and try to subsidize my bills by buying/selling/flipping/lightly restoring vintage drums [mainly]

I know I'm a newbie to this, but have been around drums for 25+ yrs, have always LOVED vintage tubs [though I've owned plenty of newer stuff, too] and am now trying to take the next step in this field. Thanks again for all your help and patience. VDF is an absolute godsend & invaluable resource to someone like me.

Sincerely,

Victor Span

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Welcome.

For your missing spurs..... get them at Home Depot. A two foot piece of 1" EMT will make them both. Getting them bent is fairly easy. Don't forget the crutch tips. Take a mount with you to ensure the sizing.
