A bunch of vintage Zildians at "cost" Last viewed: 7 seconds ago

A short time ago, I sold all my Craig Lauritsen cymbals to raise cash in case I needed some unpaid time off for health stuff.

So my plan was to buy some ebay vintage zildjians, keep some, and re-sell the rest. I'm going to post the ebay links so you can see what they are...and how much I have into them. I'd like to sell them at the same cost - including shipping. Take a look and see what you think. If you'd like more info please send an email: [email protected] or a PM... these all sound really good...it was tough to decide because they all sound great. I just picked out a few.

Here's the list:

The 20's been sold, but on with the show:

The 18's been sold, too..

the 3640 gram ride has been sold... so what's left:

And a 20 ride at 2450:

I repeat...these are all very nice. I opted for a couple of 50's...that are pretty beat up!

Let me know if you'd like more info, okay?

Thanks!

Very interested in the 20" sizzle ride. Sound byte? Lots of wash?

He said the ad showed 2200 grams..

This eBay ad had the 1700 g weight in it....

Blair -- yep - the heading of the listing was incorrect. He also had listed a 22 at 2212. He copied the heading, and it said that the 20 was that weight. Then in the body of the ad, he stated the accurate weight. I think the error in the heading may have been why the cymbal was so inexpensive.

At any rate, it's been sold, and I'll be removing it from the ad.

So are these the left overs that nobody wanted on ebay?

All of these were bought on eBay by Bill Fulton. Those links to ads represent Bill buying them, not selling them. That is why they show as completed auctions on eBay. Bill posted the links here to document the cymbals and what he paid for them. That level of honesty is to be commended. Good one, Bill.

Everybody clear now? (including Mr Lincoln?)

Well, thank you sir. The ones that were the best deals certainly sold quickly...and they were great deals.

I still haven't figured out what to do about what I paid for shipping on the original deal; I don't know if I should wrap that into my re-sale cost or what.

The first two worked out very well, so I guess I'll wait and see. If anyone wants additional info, please let me know. I can make sound files that sound more or less like reality!
