This has been going on for the pass few weeks.I will make the story not to long.anyway with Christmas now i gifted a complete set of drums to a 16 year old guy i feel so good inside.The short story i have been playing the pass few weeks at a church helping out with the Christmas music program anyway today the 24th was the last show.This kid watch me play everytime right to side of me.I started to talk to him a few weeks ago and ask if he was a drummer he said yes and he told me that i was the best drummer he has seen in person.So i started to show him a few things and told him to try them at home.After about a week when i showed him a few more things he told me that he did not have a real drum set a home that he used boxes,pails,ete for his drum set.Told me that he asked his Mom for a set for Christmas but that she had not the money for one..So i said i will come in the afternoons he could play my set and i would show him more things to play..So today-24th- i finish up with the music thing.At the end of it all i walked over give him a pair of sticks asked him to play the drums for his Mom he did.I turn to him and said Merry Christmas and started to walk away.He said out loud what about your drum set,i said what drum set its your's..Mikey

I think you're the one that got the gift...if nothing else you actually get "it". You get the meaning of giving from the heart to someone who actually needed your gift. That kid will remember your gift the rest of his life...so will I and a lot of other guys who've read this post. I am humbled!
