William Kent has passed away at 99 . And I want to say a public sorry for your loss to member Mouse as he was friends with him .

No he didn't take me for any money thankfully but the convo started via FB on the Slingerland page. He started off with telling me he had some wood hoops I was looking for regarding a marching drum to bass drum conversion. I told him what other parts I needed and what I was looking for. He responded telling me had all the parts I needed. I just had a bad feeling about it and disengaged myself from the convo.

This almost happened to me on this forum from another member. About a year ago. His name on here is 2manydrums and he uses vadrums. "Tom mintz". I was warned to stay away.

Listen to your gut . He is bad news and when you question him on anything he goes crazy . He is a very unstable person not to mention he always wants payment via PayPal sent as a gift and you have no recourse against him .

But at the same time This forum is great. There is a wealth of great knowledge and I have bought off of many many good people and have sold to great people. Like you said. Trust your gut. And know your seller.

Agreed . I just wish I had been warned before I had dealt with him . BUT I have had great deals with many others on the forums .
