I'll never sell my Acrolite for the following reasons-- It's only 3 months and 1 week shy of when i was born, so the sentimental value for me is something special..Second, I think that the resale value isn't worth selling such a fine drum.. If you own an original Acrolite from the 70's or early 80's you have a great work horse snare drum that would certainly give other high end snare drums a run for their money. I've tried $800 DW's that sounded like absolute garbage compared to an Acrolite. Vintage Acrolites are built like tanks, and can sit nicely in almost every genre of music, so why would anyone sell it ? Most engineers and recording studios will no doubt have one in their drum arsenal. The sound is distinct and inimitable. It's a gem, and all of us who are fans of this snare drum can easily obtain one for peanuts. We should all count ourselves lucky to have such a snare drum.

For those who aren't fans of the Acrolite, i feel sympathy for you ;)LoLoLoLo
