Alex Van Halen's rehearsal kit Last viewed: 6 hours ago

It's very simple. Without detailed provenance, it is any other kit and should be priced as such. Anybody can make any claim they want.

All the wanna be historic kits without provenance ! Are just another drum set....

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Wouldn't that be awkward?

"Hey Alex, you know that kit you gave to me as a gift? Well I want to sell it, can you autograph it for me so it can be authenticated and I can get more money for it?"

While I don't believe it is authentically Alex's kit, I can certainly appreciate how that might be a bit difficult to secure (if it indeed is). To sell something that was gifted - just awkward.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
