Annual gig coming up Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Loading...

Well, really no need to post this but Im excited about our third live performance taking place on the 17th of October. We have done this party twice in the past. The first year we played in a separate building from the main band ( a garage), second year we we opened for the main band with their PA and lights. Their drummer went down and I filled in. Last year someone said we would headline the party one day, they were correct! We will be playing after two other bands. I hear you guys talk about your gigs all the time and just want to let you all know that I am still in our band and doing fine. First year we did a whopping 8 songs, second year 13, and this year 23. Playing the Fibes kit for this gig, nice and loud. Will be using my 6.5" supersensative snare. And ya, a new cowbell, lol!

We even have shirts this year, I will post a pic when I get mine.

Anyone nearby want to come out and hear the band PM me for directions, its in Milan Illinois.

Thank you!
Jeff C

Thanks all!

Rastus, I will be playing my Fibes kit, chrome over fiberglass.

Rims, well when you only do one gig a year then yes I am a little nervous.

Here is our new band logo inspired from a county road sign that our singer got for Christmas from his two sons, they borrowed it,lol.

And a pic of the kit.

Getting anxious, promised I would do a solo. Been working on it, did a 7 minute one this morning, dusted off the roto toms that have been sitting in a corner of the basement for several years. I place them just over my two floor toms and found out that they can be a lot of fun to play.
