Recently I purchased some vintage Slingerland & Ludwig hardware along with some additional miscellaneous items. Among them was this Slingerland badge/plate with the number 24204 stamped into the metal. The piece measures 4 1/4" by 1".

Does anybody have any idea where this might have been originally mounted?

Yes, that is a badge for a 1976-78 S/l cut-a-way- toms....Mikey
