any info on 30's era woodlug Ludwigs? Last viewed: 8 hours ago

Hey....I recently traded for an old set of Ludwigs that are all wood , the rings, studs, and hoops. The badge is the white oval with "Ludwig patent pending, Ludwig and Ludwig" on it. ANY info would be gratefully appreciated!!! There was also quite an assortment of extra goodies that came with the kit...a little set of bells, a pair of 6 inch cymbals, etc.

And a big thanx to those who started a cool site like this!!! Help2

Sounds like a WWII era kit - wood was substituted for metal parts.

I think that line was called Victorious for the war effort

Actually...Victorious was the name used by WFL during the war. The Ludwig & Ludwig brand was the Victory series......close, but now quite the same. End of history lesson. :D
