I entered "clipper" tom-tom mount on EbA and all I get are pictures from the LA Clippers basket ball team.Even a few from when they were in San Diego.Whats this EbA coming to? haha

Why not refer to it in your search as a hoop mount for tom tom? I guess I'm just ignorant to EbA. What is it? I use eBay all the time.

I just found this on eBay after a five minute search for tom mount Slingerland

Thanks for furthering the cause of us throwbacks to the way drums used to be, and functioned just fine.

To be honest, that is one of the reasons I bought the kit in the first place! I think it looks ultra cool, and even though you may not have the flexibility to position the tom exactly the way you are used to with modern drums...just learn to play like the old guys from back in the day!

Here is a pic of my Leedy kit. Gotta love that 26" virgin bass drum!

Those Leedys are gorgeous. You made a comment that is absolutely true. The drums and the drummers will both learn how to adapt to each other.

agreed. those are spectacular!

here's another setup of mine using an older version hoop mount. its the hoop mount that is for the 7x11 wfl zephyr lug tom that is shown. bass is a 12x17 mid 60's ludwig tenor tom. early 20's snare and a 16" zanchi vibra sizzle cymbal. ludwig and ludwig comet pedal. lots of fun...hoop mounted cymbal and spurs as well.
