Excellent indeed. Why do you think you overpaid, exactly?

Great kit!! If you're proud of it, which I'm sure you are, then you didn't pay too much. (That's how I justify some of my purchases.)

Thanks a lot guys for your kind words! OK, I didnt mean that ill never play em...Ill surely do (got a make some room on my studio...the BD is HUGE!)...I meant "I wont play em LIVE"...Oh, and This is the only set that I can say how much I paid for since is not for sale: $1000...I did good?, so so?, fair?, bad?Help2..I think I did ok since the snare by itself should be on the $500.00-$600.00 zone...The bass drum :like $350.00 and then the toms $150-200 each...Thats separated but a kit thats been together forever and on this condition should be more valuable right? like the old 'The whole is greater than the sum of its parts'?

Man, those are simply awesome. Wouldn't it be great if Ray actually owned them?

Don't know Leedy's well at all, but I'd wager you did fine @ 1k - especially in the condition it.s in. That would be very interesting to see set up & played in the video section -

i paid 1/2 again as much for a car and despite the fact it sounds like a drum sometimes, it is falling apart, day by day. what used to be a good resounding kick drum beat coming from somewhere?under, inside,in the wheelwells, is getting kind of flabby and undefined.----- 1k. for those? --------complete deal, they won't rust to pieces and the time capsule character is so,so worth it.
