Hi -
I have a bunch of these telescoping legs - are they Sonor? are they even drum gear? Can anyone help me identify them? They have "made in West Germany" tags on them. Trying to clean out the hardware/parts closet. I think I have 8 of them.

Great, just what I need. Another challenge to figure a use for something cool looking and see what I can come up with. Sorry, no help other than some crap comment.
Is the top threaded or just a clamp?. Approximate dia and length sizes?

They kind of look like the telescoping legs from a Sonor tympani (similar to a Roto Tom system but with beech wood shell). Another company also made a similar looking drum.
