I didn't want to post this in the for sale section and bump members ads. Guitar Center in Orange CT has a Rogers Big R USA kit in wood grain color wrap for sale for $499. 24" bass, 18" and 16" floor toms, 13" and 12" monuted toms. Some wrap seperation on the seams but overall a pretty clean looking kit. Wood grain wrap not sure the exact name/color sorry. All tom mounts, bass and floor tom legs were there. Couldn't get a great look at it there were other kits stacked in front of it. Serial #'s were either 4XXX or 4XXXX. I had to lean in and kinda poke around to see it. Clear heads on them but couldn't see the brand. If anyone is interested I can go back this week and take a better look, pics and serial #'s. Or check the CG website might be on there. Seemed like a pretty good deal for $499!

Thats' a KOA wrap. Nice price for a Big R

Those still have the hex legs for the floor toms.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

DH I saw it in person on Friday with the pricetag of $499.99. If your interested I can go back tomorrow afternoon and see if it's still around. Pretty clean other than the seam seperation (minor work there) and both tom mounts were with it still.

These might be finding a new home today. Not to me but a friend of my boys is interested. They are still there and we are heading up later to have a good look. I'm surprised they are still there. I thought they'd go quickly. More later.......

Well these came home with us this evening. Alex is a friend of ours and has been playing a little over a year. He took his first step into a vintage kit today. He got them for $475 out the door with tax. Not a bad deal. 24-18-16-13-12 Big R's USA made with re rings in all shells. They have some Ludwig silver dots on them so we'll need to get him a Rogers BD logo on a new head. Kit is very nice overall and will look wonderful cleaned up. We'll glue the loose seams back down atfer he plays them a bit. He has a Ludwig Accent so this is a big step up in quality. Congrats Alex~!

Sorry about the sideways pic...just turn your heads. flower
