I found them be a little stiff and not as resonant as coated Ambassadors.

Yep, I wanted to try them on a kit. I've used one on a wood snare and liked the way it sounded.

I'm sure they will sound good on the right drums...they just didn't work for me. Even so...for the price, it would be worth the experimentation.
