Hi new to this forum and I am excited to have found it. My question is of my sets vintage monicker eligibility. I am having trouble finding anything similar in drum combinations. See I bought the set new in Frankfurt Germany at the Cream music store in 1982. The set is mahogany (at least the outer of the six ply's) sized 24" bass (single spur) 14" 15" toms and 18" floor tom. POWERFUL SOUND . The snare is 6.5x14 supersonic 10 lug. The hardware is all Hercules stands. So was this set built in the 80's or a left over from the 70's. The serial # on one tom is 209xxxx.on a pointy b&o badge.. any help is appreciated .

First of all welcome to the VDF forums, you are in the right place to get help identifying your drums, would pictures be possible? You can post pictures as attachments to your posts. Sounds like you may have a Ludwig set from the 1970's. Is that vintage? Yes, to some. Do they sound good, you bet!
