Good God! A matching Vistalite canister throne. I hope you were able to get these drums.

so cool
So did you get them? Tell more!
1965 Club Date/Downbeat Combo Blue Sparkle
Cleveland Rogers COB Powertone snare
1965 Ludwig Supra Snare
Was the bag of dirty diapers in the bass included too?
The suspense is killing me! I'm sorely tempted to drive to Mass from PA to get them myself.
Hope he's on the way home with them now. I have a feeling he can make a real score with these price-wise. The owner obviously doesn't know much about drums. Just in a hurry to get rid of them. First guy who waves some cash in his face gets them.

Hurry Up!
I'll take a plane from Buenos Aires right now!

I´ll offer for the dirty towels inside BD also!Mind Blowi
Ludwig '67 Classic B.D.P.
Ludwig '79 Classic Pro-beat
C. A. F. '72 New Sonic "The Argentinean Ludwig"
A bunch of Ludwig snares..... + Dyna & P.Tone.
and always trying to recover some orphan drums!!
UPDATE:
The seller listed only an email for contact, so I emailed him asking what was included in the set (cymbals, cannister throne, stands, etc), general condition of the set (any visable damage or cracks), and then made a modest but reasonable offer just to test the water. So far, no reply. I'll keep y'all updated.

While on the subject, there is an anonymous moron in my area who posts fake ads on CL just for kicks, showing a picture of a Camco or other valuable vintage kit and then plays dumb in his ad by saying "don't know much about them...haven't played them in years, I just want to get rid of them....blah blah" and puts a price tag way under the value of the drums like $300, just to get a flood of responses. He then never responds to anyone. I fell for it years ago when I knew nothing. Ever now and then this goof appears with one of his fake ads. Some day I'd love to catch the little f**ker and teach him a lesson :)
