Atlas--Hurcules stand question Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Those are mine to a "T"-rubber feet, tapered top , 't' style wing nuts

I snaged two of them for 30 a piece and yes cleaned up real nice.

Could use 2 more.

I actually prefer the Atlas stands to the Hercules. My black plastic T broke on my Cymbal boom stand. I don't use it live and keep it with the studio set.

I have a couple of the Hercules tom stands too. I just don't like those tubular legs for some reason. They are good sturdy stands though.

I love my Atlas snare stand. It folds up nice and fits in my small trap case. I use it on all my performance gigs. Also like the cymbal stands.

I have the ability to grab 2 more hurcs. but these two have the dreaded black plastic wing nut (that always seem to brake).

So the question is....can the black wing nut be converted to a 'T' style wing nut?

And....are the boom sections the same as my tapered hurcs?

I am sorry, don't normally comment on spelling, but:

Pictured below, the man in the short dress is Hercules (one u), the other feller with the pointy ears is Newton, famed for crying out "Herc, Herc" (no u's).

Hercules,

hero of song and story

Hercules,

winner of ancient glory

fighting for the right

fighting with his might

with the strength of ten

ordinary men

Hercules,

people are safe when near him

Hercules,

only the evil fear him

softness in his eyes

iron in his thighs

virtue in his heart

fire in every part

of the mighty

Hercules!
