Tape residue on a drum head used by Bonzo ?? That's preposterous..

And that typo in the letter where he spelled Zeppelin "Zeplin" doesn't sit right with me.

Everyone, especially a drummer or drum shop owner should know how to spell

Zeppelin.. Unfortunately, there are many forgeries out there,

so it's always wise to use discernment in these situations..

Just my two cents..:2Cents:

are those Rockers heads? Did they even come out in Bonham's life time?

Edit - I see that Rockers heads came before the Rockers line of drums so could be correct period

I could see buying the heads, play a bunch of Led Zep tributes and flinging them out to the crowd or something, but the cymbal arm ?? It should have stayed with the now, altered BD.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

"Rockers" heads are available in the 1980 catalog. However, in the 1975 catalog they are still listed as Weather Master "thermolene" plastic heads and the 1976 "Setup Guide" I can see the Weather Master stamps (although there is no brand called out directly, just the head weights).

I'll reserve judgment on the supposed value of this "collectable."

I will now use a word that I never use to comment on absurdities like this ......"baloney". I say this word because spelling out the full word signified by "BS" would be inappropriate here. Maybe the same seller is also going to list a White Marine Pearl Slingerland canister throne on which Buddy Rich is rumored to have passed gas?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Whether they were used by Bonham or not, to me they're just old drum heads. I dunno, maybe I'd pay maybe 5 or 10 bucks to hang them on my wall as a conversation piece, but it'd be cooler if they were signed by him.
