New to this forum...........in 1965 I purchased, new, Ludwig Club Date in gold sparkle. Sadly, after 4 amazing years , I sold them to help finance college. I've searched for years for those drums and only found 2 subsequent owners. I keep looking but in the meantime I'll watch these posts and dream of what might have been.

Here ya go. It's a 1966, but it's a very nice one. You won't find a nicer guy to deal with, either. He's a sweet sugar plum.
