I picked these up at the Chicago Musical Instrument show. I hope to get started soon on restoration.

the Ludwig Standard strata finishes are some of the coolest wraps ever made to me. I love the ruby and blue but the avocado is my fav and the pics do not do this finish justice. I had a buddy in high school and his first kit was a Ludwig 5 piece in ruby strata. He said the kit was crap and convinced his Dad to buy him a brand new Tama Imperialstar kit. The kit wasn't crap but he could not play Rush on a 5 piece. Both kits were cool but that Ludwig Standard kit was my first intro into classic Ludwig in the mid 80's.
