I think this is a catastrophic case of the horrifically bad h o m o phone (good god! I had to space the letters as vdf replaced 1st 4 letters w/ asterisks) gone very, very bad. You know how some (a lot) of people spell cymbal "symbol"? Only in this case it's not only bad spelling but worse hearing.

Well, I was just in the shower & told my wife about our friend here getting bent about "juiced." She informed me that what leedy probably meant is that derogatory term for-a-certain-minority-dead-center-in-the-Middle-East. I, of course, can't write this term; but if you say "Juiced" quickly 3 times you'll probs catch on.

I have leedy to thank for nearly drowning me in the shower. And that Fogel ... that be an Anglo-Saxon surname.

I need a nap. I feel like I just did 300 sit ups.

If you need to ask, you are probably either: (A) comfortable with using the implied slur or: (B) you are not familiar with the implied slur. The use of the term "juiced" that is familiar to me is for describing excitement or being "pumped up" in anticipation of something. Another very old use of the term is as a substitute for the word extortion or extraordinarily high interest rates.

Glad to see you have an understanding of my choice of words. So yes JUICED is the word. Pumping some one up and then killing them with the price, trying to squeeze as much as you can out of someone and then we they claim they can get it cheaper elsewhere the price suddenly drops drastically. Oh I have this rare part but its 10xs more than the other rare parts you may find on ebay.

Fogel is a Teutonic word for bird. The name might belong to families of any religion.

"Recorded originally in Germany as Vogil and Fogel, and in England as Fugel and Foul, this interesting surname is of both Anglo-Saxon and Olde English pre 7th century origins. It derives from the word "fugol", meaning bird, and in ancient times this was a personal name of endearment".

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Well that explains everything (which in early Latin used to mean nothing).

I guess that you need it spelled out in simpler words. The name Fogel or similar names are not necessarily ***ish names. The offense I took at the original post is what I felt was an attempt to not use (but to imply) the horribly offensive term of being "***ed" by a seller.

Maybe quit copying from a document and learn how to spell the word "Type"?

If I spelled out in language any simpler than I've already done ... ah forget it.

Leedy : your perceived problem isn't a problem at all. You've grossly confused juiced for j-e-w-ed (no offense intended). But Ray Dee DID NOT USE juiced in this way; you're reading into it all by yourself. You think juiced means j-e-w-ed and you're categorically, unequivocally way off!!! Remind me not to sit down for breakfast with you.

Ray Dee meant juiced in the sense of amped up, inflated, and if you don't get it yet: overpriced.

And for the record: to j-e-w someone means to lowball, etc - not charge too much.

Thank you for your lesson of the way you interpret the matter. And, I beg forgiveness for my inexcusable typing error that I failed to spell check. So, in your infinite wisdom, please explain why the names of certain religions are OK to type here while one particular name of a religion is not acceptable.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
