Anyone ever hear of a B&J snare. I picked up a 3" deep snare, it's really unique. The shell is made from one pice of bent wood, the hoops are unique as well, and there are no lugs, it has a unique single tension system. It says B&J NY "The Jazz" stamped into the hoops. I'll try to post a pic.

No luck eh? I learned that B&J was a musical instrument distributor and some variation of the company still exists in Toronto. That's all I got. I'd appreciate any other info.
