I have a 60s Ludwig 22" bass with some cracking on the inside. I'd share a pic but I don't want to take the head off right now. It's on the bottom part of the inside, a few little splits on the inner ply layer (the white painted layer that you see). It doesn't seem to affect the sound and heads go on fine, so I don't believe it's caused an out of round issue...and no rattles from what I can tell. Should I be concerned or just live with it? One day, I may just try and find a more mint version.

I just got a 60's 22" myself and have the same thing going on. I used a little wood glue and a clamp to keep the crack contained. I think a lug mounting screw was overtightened but not sure.
