BDP Ludwig Pioneer Price Last viewed: 8 hours ago

Hello everyone,

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1966 Ludwig Pioneer snare in black diamond pearl. Assuming there are no major flaws and parts are original, is $175 a fair purchase price or should I pass? Is BDP a more rare wrap on Pioneers as I see a lot more with sparkle wrap or WMP? It would look good behind my ’67 BDP Clubdates though :)

I don't know that's it's particularly more rare. it looks like it's in good shape and it matches your kit. I think it is a fair price; not necesariy a steal but a good, fair deal.

Hi Superclassic,

To me, that's a no-brainer.

I've been looking for a BDP pioneer or Jazz Fest to match my 1966 Superclassic. If you pass it, please get me in contact with the seller.

175,00 seems a very fair price to me.

Out of curiosity, you have by any chance the serial-number?

If my eyes are still as good as I think they are, the serial number looks like 352,XXX which should put it in 1966.
