In my man room/drum room I want to start putting signed drum heads up. What is the best heads to use? Is it better to just go with a cheap plain white head or something along the line of a Remo coated head?

I have used the pseudo calf look of the Fiberskyn heads. The sigs look pretty cool on those.

Smooth white seems to work best for sigs if they are using a sharpie marker to sign with.......

Plus one on smooth white.....
I have several drum heads signed by various artists and smooth white is the best. Be careful to let it dry and not rub it on anything, as it will smear.
Second choice is any white coated. I have a bunch of Ludwig heads in small sizes. I took them to NAMM and every Ludwig artist was more than willing to sign them.
Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....
