I've been looking for another Premier Hi-Fi, saw a few of these online and they caught my eye. It looks like they may be aluminum and resemble a Supra closely. Is the sound also Supra-like or more like a Premier COB or steel snare? What would be a fair price to spend on one in average/good condition? Thanks.

They are chrome over aluminium, also released later in the 70's as a Premier '35'

I had a Premier 35 (as mentioned, a re-badged 21) and it was almost identical to a Supra in sound. They tend to sell for less than a 70s Supra and the 35 can often be picked up around $100-150. The US version of the 35 has the Beverley lugs. Here's one http://www.ebay.com/itm/14-Vintage-Premier-Snare-Drum-5-5-x-14-10-Lug-/112446555202?hash=item1a2e564442:g:WagAAOSw3h1ZPA9W
There is also an 8 lug aluminum Premier snare that looks similar and you'd think it would sound much like an Acrolite. It doesn't.
