Tim, I'm not sure what it is you are/ were referencing ? Here is The mighty Bonham. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohlFjyCE0gA[/ame]

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I would say Mitchell and Baker have more in common style, influences and drum sound than Bonham.

From orangemi

Actually it was a 5" with the extended snare and butt replaced, may never have been a Broadway. See close-up pic:http://gpatt.customer.netspace.net.au/cream/drumkit.htmAnd here's a 5" with the same lug spacing:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1950s-Leedy-Ludwig-Snare-Drum-5-x14-RARE-RED-SPARKLE-/251316658498?pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item3a83a3e142Coffee Break2

Now that I see a clear pic of his Leedy,it's no 6.5.It looks to be 5 or 5.5.

Most written references to the drum, describe it as a 6.5 x14.

That vid is also interesting in that it shows Baker switching between trad.and matched grip, with lots a bandaids.Wonder if he's got blisters.?

Anyhow,I stand corrected.
