I have heard dish soap and warm water with a cotton cloth,I have also heard wd 40 and a cotton cloth.

haven't tried WD40 yet, but i guess that might be a bit aggressive on the black finish.... i used dish soap and warm water as well and it worked fine. in the hardware you can of course use WD40 and all the other funky substances available...
