I just pulled out my BB that I bought new last year - What a great drum - it's a B-stock that I got off of eBay. I think the B-stocks are a great deal, and without the long wait (I also much prefer the B/O badges - even without the serial #). I took off the gaskets and put a pair of Joyful Noise brass hoops on - but even with the stock rims and gaskets, the drum sounded great.

I'm not sure if Ludwig will always offer these, but I think B-stocks are one of the great deals right now...
