Here's an old Leedy pedal....
Anyone know what model and year ??
Any ideas about restoration... bead blast and re-chrome, or paint ???
Thanks all !!
I would start with a cup of the Breakfast blend in the first pic and go from there. I know, I no help!:)

It's obvious that both you and I have the same "good" (using the term rather loosely here) taste (lol)!
I've attached some pics of mine as well as a pic of this pedal from Rob Cook's publication "The Complete History of the Leedy Drum Company."
The model is "The Professional" and it was listed as a Leedy "product development" between the years of 1930-1942.
I call mine the "Bad Hair Day" model!Excited
This'll be of no help, either: I would use a good-quality dust-mask when using that beater. You never know what air-borne allergens or carcinogens might be trapped in the matrix of that thing. Cool-lloking ped, though.
Kev, you mean like this one, Since were all showing off our professional leedy pedals, the action on this pedal is quite good and smooth! you would be stunned if you played one really!
Not bad for basically a clone of the original Ludwig & Ludwig pedal from 1909.....:)
