Yes but note...We are not all crooks down here.. I have (as many other OZ VDF members have) made lots of successful transactions such as that.. "USA only" items actually annoy me... A buck is a buck no matter where it comes from... Tracking works internationally so what's the problem... filling out a one minute customs declaration? .. From Oz I have sold & shipped to UK, France, and back to US with no problems whatsoever...CheersJohn

As a New Zealander who has bought quite a bit of gear from American sellers on here, ebay and Reverb etc and never let anyone down, I agree with John. There are ratbags everywhere and every now and then you come across one. I've had more than one experience with an American Ebay seller who has welshed on a deal because he thought he may have sold his item too cheap. I don't assume all US sellers are crooks as a result though.

I'd NEVER call anybody a 'crook', regardless of they live in the USA or not. As far as online selling,I've never shipped overseas myself just because I'm the village idiot when it comes to figuring out shipping cost & insurance.

Sorry... "Crook" was my input... I presumed that your statement re shipping related more towards the context of the original thread... Eg you having being burned in a similar timewasting encounter...

Cheers
